VB Editions

VBA

VBA stands for Visual Basic for Applications. This is a slightly different edition of VB, which comes with most MSOffice applications. The basic functions are the same, however there is added functionality customised for that application. For example in Excel there is the Cell function that allows the programmer to retrieve the value of a cell on a spreadsheet. Click here for a tutorial on using VBA.
