Since there is no other book on Windows 7 Professional this book is goldent. Teaches you what you need to know. None of the books lately have been edited great. Thats because tech book sales don't really make much money anymore. So they save money on editing I think. But the content and what you need to know are there and that makes for a good book.

I bought this book as a gift based on the limited reviews on Amazon. I am sorry I did. The recipient gave the book back to me within days. The book is riddled with the sort of spelling errors that spell check wouldn't catch. Plenty of grammar errors too. The illustrations were fuzzy and difficult to read. But the recipient did say he learned a thing or two. I have returned the book and plan to replace the gift with a different book altogether.

I am pretty experienced with certification and Microsoft books. This is a really easy to use book and I know Sean Odom is a great author. I got my CCNP using his books with Todd Lammle. He is obviously a great writer is obviously experienced and knows how to write and easy to understand book. And "Yes" I did buy the book and "No" this is not a solicited review. [...].

I am the Tech Editor for this book so I might be a little biased. But this book took us months to create and we worked hard to put together a great book for you! I hope you like it.
