This is a great book about Exchange Server 2007. It more useful for helping you use the product on a day-to-day basis in a production environment than it for studying to pass the three MCITP Exchange Server tests, so please be aware of that before you buy it. I keep a copy of it right on my desk (which I don't often do), and besides TechNet, use it as my primary Exchange reference. Tony Redmond has a very readable writing style, and despite it being over 1000 pages, isn't long-winded. On a lighter note, it is a heavy book, so if you buy two of them, you can use them as a hand weight set. hahaha

I'm just beginning the book, and find it useful. There are, however, many spelling and grammatical errors. Regarding the grammar, I'm talking about missing words and words out of order that can trip you up. You'd think a book written about computer technology would have actually used computer technology to find these mistakes.

Its a good book to understand the core concepts of exchange 2007.
But I wouldnt recommend if you are looking for a book to help your day to day exchange administration tasks

Intersante información relacionada a casos practicos, es una guia completa para implementaciones y migraciones exitosas de Exchange 2007. Excelente compra para los que lo están evaluando, excelente libro a pesar de no contener mucho sobre Mensajería Unificada.

Have Tony's 2003 SP1 and 2007 SP1 books. They were recommended to me by a former co-worker of his. Tony cuts out all the BS and get right to it. Few IT books capture my attention and leave me awake but Tony's words make it all easy to understand. I really enjoy the SCR section that is new to this edition and the Exchange world, he got really in depth with the dynamics and it shows that he knows how to make it work properly.
In the beginning he stated that to cover all the new technology to E2K7 he would need a thousand more pages, and I am hoping he delivers another edition. Thanks Tony for making the new "complex" Exchange very understandable and giving real world best practices.
