I had a customer who sent me an email on how to change the automated email text sent when a user request access to a site. Although I won’t get into the specifics of what that customer was looking for, I was able to find a great example of how to change the text across the site.
Now, let me warn you that this example is based on SharePoint 2003, but from looking at the code it looks like it should also work for SharePoint 2007. I will try it myself and let you know.
