November/December Black Swan meetup - Pittsburgh Black Swan Book Club

    Pittsburgh, United States

As usual, the holidays throw a monkey wrench into when to have the meetup. The 21s is very soon, and the 29th is still part of Thanksgiving weekend. So I am thinking December 6 at 10:30 am. The book is "The Future of the Internet and How to Stop it" by Jonathan Zittrain. This is now out in paperback. The title is something of a misnomer--it is more about the future character of the internet as open but vulnerable versus closed but secure.

New Jersey Tech Drinks December Meetup - New Jersey Tech Drinks

    Berkeley Heights, United States

Ok, folks, I'm making the executive decision to move Tech Drinks a little north this month. Then next month we will have it in East Windsor on the same day as NJDotNet user group. Possibly we could rotate monthly, we will see how this works out. If you were previously planning on attending and now can't make it please let me know, if there is a demand we will keep it in New Brunswick. Delicious Heights is awesome, they have a great bar. I'm going to see if I can wrangle us some drink specials.
