    It’s time once again for Labs Night, our monthly meetup to discuss Labs projects, your projects, and the Open Web. Our June session will be next Thursday, 6/25, 6-9pm at the new Mozilla HQ – 650 Castro Street, Suite 300 in downtown Mtn. View. We are excited to welcome Joseph Smarr, CTO at Plaxo. Joseph is currently leading Plaxo’s “Open Social Web” initiative to put users back in control of who they know when using socially-enabled sites by using open data-sharing standards.

Beautiful grassy meadows, coastal scrub, and live oak are all highlights in this park, which also has some historic ranch ruins and a great little nature center on coastal California wildlife.

    Las Virgenes-Cheseboro Canyon Loop - The Weekday Hikers

    Eleven-mile hike (with about 800 ft net elevation gain) through the critical ecological linkage and wildlife corridor between the Santa Monica Mountains and the ranges to the north. Along the hike we will be surrounded by rolling hills studded with valley oaks, sycamore-lined canyons, and vistas of unspoiled California landscapes.
