Rivas Canyon - The Weekday Hikers

This is a Veteran's Day Hike requested by Nancy from Pacific Palisades The Rivas Canyon Trail connects Temescal Canyon and Will Rogers State Historic Park. We will begin at Temescal Gateway Park. We will climb a circuitous route up the eastern ridge of Temescal Canyon and then promenade down into Rivas Canyon.

Abstract: You will be introduced to an open source 3D printer - the MakerBot cupcake. All of the cupcake software and hardware is open source and it prints objects using ABS plastic. UEC - Part 2 - Virtualization, VMware, Hyper-V, Eucalyptus, Cloud Computing

Part 1 (first hour) Install Ubuntu, create a cloud controller, storage controller, and a node controller. manage these images and instances with elasticfox. Part 2 (second hour) Bundle an image and upload to Amazon. Run EMIs and AMIs interchangeably. use euca tools to manage amazon and eucalyptus. For those that attended last night, I'll have some USB sticks that we can run Ubuntu off of to create more regions and availability zones.
