  Eagle Rock Loop via Caballero & Garapito - The Weekday Hikers

  Eagle Rock, the most impressive landmark in all of Topanga State Park, will afford us an airy perch overlooking the upper watershed of Santa Ynez Canyon and the ocean beyond. We will snack/lunch on this impressive sandstone rock covered with crevices and caves. This is a moderate-to-strenuous/easy-paced 9.5 mile hike with about a 1000 ft elevation gain. Bring plenty of water and lunch or snacks.

  Full Moon Hike & Potluck - The Weekday Hikers

  Enjoy the mountains, meadows and ocean overlook as the moon lights our way on this 3-mile looped potluck hike at Charmlee Wilderness Park in Malibu Charmlee Wilderness Park covers 532 acres of the best of the Santa Monica Mountains Coastal Slope environment. Beautiful grassy meadows, coastal scrub, and live oak are all highlights in this park, which also has some historic ranch ruins and a great little nature center on coastal California wildlife.

  Las Virgenes-Cheseboro Canyon Loop - The Weekday Hikers

  Eleven-mile hike (with about 800 ft net elevation gain) through the critical ecological linkage and wildlife corridor between the Santa Monica Mountains and the ranges to the north. Along the hike we will be surrounded by rolling hills studded with valley oaks, sycamore-lined canyons, and vistas of unspoiled California landscapes.
