We read various non-fiction books rough around the topic of "how things happen." To date, we have read Guns, Germs and Steel, Blink, Fooled by Randomness, The Logic of Failure and The Black Swan: the Impact of the Highly Improbable. We read The Clock of the Long Now (for July) and another Jared Diamond book, Collapse, in August-September. Meetings are a Sunday brunch, and my original plan was to have a second meeting on a weekday evening, and will revisit this idea if there is interest.

Dining in the Dark

OK, guys so we got to thinking about what the next AWESOME meetup was going to be all about and recently we had heard about this cool new experience called Dining in the Dark. We were unsure if there were any places that did this in Houston and since we do a lot of meetups that revolve around eating out already, we thought we would try eating in this time in the dark.
