We read various non-fiction books rough around the topic of "how things happen." To date, we have read Guns, Germs and Steel, Blink, Fooled by Randomness, The Logic of Failure and The Black Swan: the Impact of the Highly Improbable. We read The Clock of the Long Now (for July) and another Jared Diamond book, Collapse, in August-September. Meetings are a Sunday brunch, and my original plan was to have a second meeting on a weekday evening, and will revisit this idea if there is interest. -
