    Software Project War Stories

    Black Marbles, Robert 'Boss' Hogg, jumps in the General Lee, and drives down to Coventry, doing some great jumps over hay bails, and through old barns on the way to talk about Software Project War Stories. with tales from the front line. We'll be having some Moonshine, and may even get John to do a Nugget, then we'll all be in Hazard County.

  • VBUG: WinFX - Introduction to Windows Presentation Foundation

    This session will introduce the WPF (formerly code-named "Avalon") which forms part of the WinFX wave of technologies. The programming model is exposed in the traditional way through a compiler & a set of libraries but also through a new persistence format known as XAML.We'll take a look around the WPF from the bottom up,introducing the main functional areas & its future tool support.
