We invite you to join us for a day of developer-oriented technical sessions, featuring Expression Blend, ASP.NET 4.0, Expression Web and Microsoft Silverlight 2. These exciting technologies enable entirely new types of applications to be built in record time. The conference begins with a 75 minute session that covers the basics that every designer and developer of WPF and Silverlight applications needs to know - using Expression Blend to create and manipulate objects, build timeline-based animations, and convert a typical user interface into one that harnesses the power of Microsoft Silverlight. The next demonstration oriented session will provide an early preview of some of the new features and enhancements such as Web Forms, AJAX and JQuery in ASP.NET 4.0. The post lunch session will feature Expression Web to help you create standards-based Web applications. Covering everything from Extensible Hypertext Markup Language (XHTML), Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), XML and Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformation (XSLT), this session will ensure that the ASP.NET application that you develop conforms to today’s modern web standards. Get familiar with the top features in Expression Web and learn how these features can simplify your Web design, development, and deployment process during this 90 minute session. Discover the ability to create rich, visually stunning, interactive content and applications that run on multiple browsers and operating systems in the final session on Microsoft Silverlight 2. You will also learn about the benefits of Microsoft Silverlight from a developer perspective and get an introduction to building Microsoft Silverlight applications ranging from desktop-like line of business applications to data visualization and BI. This session will help you learn to leverage your .NET skills to build browser-based rich business applications.
