Starting your project off right with Agile Release Planning

Mario E. Moreira, Author, Writer, and CA Agile and Configuration Management Champion

This session will describe Agile Release Planning and Sprint 0 and provide the participants with a working example.  It starts by discussing when you would initiate Agile Release Planning and illustrating the envisioning work involved in Sprint 0 and how it feeds into an effective Agile Release Planning session.  It will then get into the details of Agile Release Planning focusing on the roles involved, and the key elements including the business context, product vision, architecture, vision (including QA and CM vision), and all important team backlog scrubbing.  This will be followed by a case study of an actual Agile Release Planning session that we will walk through.
