Andrew Duthie will introduce Windows Phone 7 from a developer perspective, and demonstrate the free tools you can use to create beautiful, functional applications for this platform. Developers who have used Silverlight or .NET will find a familiar environment, based in Visual Studio and Expression Blend, while those new to the Microsoft stack will find an intuitive and straightforward platform for mobile development.
We’ll also talk about the process of signing up for the Windows Phone 7 Marketplace, and the steps involved in getting your app approved, as well as some tips to avoid multiple trips through the approval process.
