The Talk
----------

1. Developing in the Open - Using Github, Python, Django and OAuth for fun and maybe profit

2. Discussing the advantages of developing a project in the open using Github.

Using our gargoyle.me project as an example, we hope to explain the advantages of using a 100% open source software stack. We will also cover Python and the Django framework with which the project was built and give an overview of a few social networks (Foursquare, Twitter,Facebook) APIs and their authentication processes that were used increasing gargoyle.me

The Talk
----------

BI or BI

It’s not what you think

A cheapskates guide to business intelligence, looking at what BI is (and isn’t – despite what a quick Google might suggest), KPIs and appropriate measures, Dashboards and scorecards, BI in the old days, current approaches to implementing BI and, finally, how to achieve  BI without selling your first born.

We'll have the normal great chat and networking before and after the speakers. The talks will be commencing at 7pm.

See you there!

John
