Asbury Agile is a 1 day, 1 track web and technology conference coming to Asbury Park, NJ this fall. The conference is aimed at the builders and doers in the web community and will be held at the Watermark Lounge on the amazing Asbury Park boardwalk on Wednesday October 19th, 2011 from 9AM-6PM.

About The Founders

Kevin Fricovsky i s the Chief Architect of Web Development and Strategy at Broadway.com. He is also the co-founder of the Django-NYC meetup group ( http://djangonyc.org) and organizes the Red Bank Creative meetup ( http://meetup.com/Red-Bank-Creative). As founder of Monty Lounge Industries ( http://montylounge.com), Kevin helps companies execute their web strategy, design, and development goals. In the past Kevin successfully bootstrapped The Lounge advertising network which he later sold. Kevin is active in the Django/Python community - presenting at DjangoCon US 2009, a member of This Week in Django podcast, contributing to many open source projects, and a Django Advent contributor. When he finds the time Kevin also enjoys writing. Most recently Kevin contributed Teudeux Product Review ( http://goo.gl/7jSCT) on Think Vitamin (thinkvitamin.com). These days Kevin spends his time with wife and kids, family, and friends in Monmouth County, NJ.


Bret Morgan is the co-founder of BandsOnABudget.com, a start-up that makes merchandising simple and affordable for bands, brands, and businesses. He is also a co-founder of Cowerks (cowerking.com), Asbury Park’s first and only co-working community. In addition, he is the founder and lead developer for DBL Systems (dblsystems.com), a Ruby on Rails development shop serving mid-tier businesses, design and marketing firms, as well as other development agencies. Lastly, he is the founder of the Jersey Shore Tech Meetup ( http://meetup.com/Jersey-Shore-Tech), a group aimed at fostering technology and entrepreneurship at the Jersey Shore. In his spare time he practices and teaches Ashtanga yoga, surfs, rides bicycles, and travels to remote locations of the globe, sometimes all at once.

Asbury Agile events are working conferences intended for networking and collaboration in the developer community.
