Mobile platforms are now outselling laptops, and with that surge in popularity comes an increased demand for applications that are tailored to these platforms. Building native apps for each platform is becoming prohibitive. With the maturity of HTML 5 we can develop applications with native HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; and deliver those applications to the mobile platform using tools that package these technologies to act like native applications. One of the up and coming new platforms is Jquery Mobile, which is leveraged off the the extremely popular Jquery Framework. In this talk we will cover the following:
