Interested in mobile development? Our own Moses Ngone will be hosting a workshop on building an app in HTML5 at Strongbox West.

With all the different mobile platforms, the mobile application development environment seems like a habitat best left to hardcore programmers.  The workshop will get you started today on building a mobile app using HTML, CSS and JavaScript, deploying your app to the App Store(iOS), Android Market, Windows Phone Market Place and or the webOS App Catalogue.

The workshop will also discuss: web vs hybrid vs native, leveraging frameworks and tools like: jQueryMobile, Sencha Touch, Phonegap, Rhomobile, Appmkr and more.
