Need a fast data integration solution, but don't have the time or budget for heavy performance tuning? Come learn how to maximize your ROI by applying trusted design patterns to your Integration Services packages.

The first half of this session will cover (almost) everything you need to know to understand SSIS performance – Data Flow internals, benchmarking, and best practices.

The second half guides you through a series of proven SSIS design patterns, and teach you how to apply them to solve many common ETL problems.

Matt Masson is a Software Development Engineer working with the SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) team. Matt has worked on many aspects of the SSIS product including upgrade, performance, and overall user experience. He is a frequent presenter at Microsoft conferences, and maintains the SSIS Team blog. Prior to joining Microsoft in 2006, Matt was a developer on a number of BI Reporting and Analytical products.
