JQuery and Ajax - Two buzzwords that go great together

These are some of the words used to describe this months presenter, Shane Daniel. Shane will take us on an odyssey of exploration as we learn about using jQuery with Ajax. 

Ajax is short for asynchronous JavaScript and XML. Although the term doesn't neccessarily refer to XML any more, with Ajax web applications can send data to, and retrieve data from, a server asynchronously. When combined with the javascript framework, jQuery, we can more easily accomplish this task and build rich internet applications.
