The development and testing of SharePoint applications is problematic. You usually need to put a large infrastructure in place to allow even the simplest operations to be performed usually meaning you need Windows server on your development PC or you need to use VPCs.

In this session I will show how you can use Typemock Isolator to improve your software quality by creating a robust testable environment for that is not dependant SharePoint being installed on either the development PC or any automated build servers.

The TalkTesting is a fundamental part of the development process regardless of how you approach it however GUI's have always been trickier to test and web based UI's are some of the hardest. JavaScript, AJAX and browser compatibility are all things that make web UI functionality quite difficult and time consuming to test. Enter Selenium, a web application testing framework which makes the creation and automation of complex web user interface tests a joy.
