Topic: Silverlight 5 and Other Cool things From Build

Earlier in September, we released the RC of Silverlight 5. Silverlight 5 contains a ton of new features to help make business and other application development easy and flexible. Of course, we also had a little event in CA this month, focused on the next version of Windows.
During this meeting, we'll chat about Silverlight 5 (as well as show a bunch of great demos), WPF 4.5, and Windows 8 XAML, and answer any questions you may have. The meeting will go where you want it to and cover the topics of interest to you.

Presenter: Pete Brown

Pete Brown is a Senior Program Manager with Microsoft, leading the Developer Community team, as well as a former Microsoft Silverlight MVP, INETA speaker, and RIA Architect. Pete's focus at Microsoft is the community around client application development (Windows 8 XAML, WPF, Silverlight, Windows Phone, Surface, Windows Forms, C++, Native Windows API, .NET Micro Framework, Robotics, and more), with a particular focus on XAML and gadgets.
Pete is the author of the best-selling Silverlight 4 in Action, currently published by Manning Publications, and of Silverlight 5 in Action and Windows 8 XAML in Action, both currently in development with Manning and slated for release next year.
