F# opens a whole new world to .NET developers: the functional world. Pattern matching is one of the killer features of functional languages, and F# takes pattern matching to a whole new level. This talk will introduce the phenomenal cosmic power of custom patterns in F#. See this cool language in action and learn a new way to think about some common programming problems.

UX Techniques

Heuristic evaluation? Mood boards? Contextual inquiry? Iterative low-fidelity comparative guerrilla prototype testing?!?!? What is this stuff? The world of user experience is full of evolving and expanding tactics and techniques that can be mixed, matched and molded to find answers to your technological dilemmas. Each technique offers different insights into user behavior, and almost all include a bit of jargon. All of these options can be daunting, and can cause undue focus on just a couple of the most popular UX methods.
