As you may know, the 2012 ON3 event will be held on April 10-12, 2012 at UP Cebu. In preparation for this competition, Jojo Flores will be in Cebu on Feb 27 to tell us more about it.
Jojo is the Co-Founder & V.P. Operations of www.plugandplaytechcenter.com, a Silicon Valley business incubator.
He is one of the originators of ON3 and he will talk about how you can participate in this FREE coaching/pitching competition; and how the event will benefit the local startup community. ON3 is open to Filipino startup companies; and those who want to build up on their startup ideas. If you want to know more about startups or don't know what a startup is, join this event and find out!
We welcome Jojo to Cebu and thank him and the organizers for bringing ON3 to the Visayas region.
What is ON3?
In general, ON3 is open to Filipino startup companies who have an existing product and are looking for funding and/or global business development. Startup companies may be involved in technology, including consumer web, internet, mobile, wireless, social media, gaming, software, clean and biotech.
You must apply and be approved to participate in the full ON3 event.
ON3 is a 3 day program that teaches/coaches you on how to pitch, allows you to practice pitching with a coach/mentor, and do the final pitch in front of potential investors. The grand prize is a 3-month stay at Plug and Play, a Silicon Valley business incubator. "The "pitch" is nothing more (or less) than a short sales presentation that a would-be entrepreneur makes to try and interest potential investors in a proposed deal"**.
