About the Talk:
Spending more time in the office doesn't mean getting more done. It means spending less time doing the things you want to do with the people that matter. The workplace is full of distractions, some of which are inevitable. A meeting here, an interruption there, and suddenly our work day is chopped up into a handful of tiny work "moments." And who can work like that?
But you have more control over your productivity than you think. In this presentation, you'll hear from an ex-procrastinator who has found a way to focus. We'll talk about finding processes to cut down on distractions and increase your efficiency, how to effectively use the many resources around you, and what you can do to manage your day, not just your project.
Let's get more done at work so we can do more at home. Let's stop fussing over our tools and start creating with what we have. Let's get things started before we worry about when we're going to finish. Let's find a flow that works and cut out useless interruptions. Let's get shit done.
