The MySQL meetup is a monthly meeting that meets with other software/programming related meetups. If you've never come out to a meetup, consider coming out. These things can be a lot of fun, especially for newcomers. Bring pen/paper or a laptop as you might find yourself leaving with a lot of ideas and URLs.
We tend to meet in the front of the store, so keep an out for people with laptops congregating. :)
