Announcing Windows Phone Bar Camp (WPBarCamp), a new event from the organisers of WPUG.

WP Bar Camp combines the best parts of a traditional WPUG meeting with a bar camp.

If you're not able to come to an evening meeting or our traditional meetups are a bit to far for your to travel for then this is for you.

It's a 6 hour event, on a Saturday, for experienced Windows Phone developers.

What constitutes an "experienced Windows Phone developer"?

We think it's someone who has at least one app in the marketplace.

What if you haven't released an app yet?

Well if you're currently working on something then you'll be welcome too. We just ask that you come willing to engage and share your experiences with others. (Even if you haven't got something to present or demo.)

Like regular WPUG meetings the event is to provide those interested in developing for Windows Phone the opportunity to learn from and with each other.

The day will include a number of pre-arranged presentations but will mainly be composed of demos and short presentations by participants.

In true bar camp style we'll confirm the participant sessions on the day but if you want to give a longer session or do something other than a demo please get in touch. Either way, if you can give an indication of what you want, or are willing, to talk about when you register it will help us prepare for the day.

Arrive from 9:30 for a 10:00 start.

If you have any problems registering please email [email protected]
