Welcome to Developing with Data! We started this group because there isn't a local forum for data-focused developers and product folk to talk about the issues they face and share knowledge.  Let's change that!

For this first meetup, our goal is to get a sense of the group and gather ideas: What projects are people working on? What are the biggest challenges you face? What technologies are you using, and which ones do you want to learn more about? Are there talks or presentations you'd like to see (or give)?

There's been a really strong response already, and we think there will be a pretty awesome group of people on hand.  We'll provide some food and beer; you just bring your curiosity and hopefully some ideas about what you'd like to see at future meetups.  Please stop by for a drink and a bite, and let's build something fun and useful together!

*Update* We're so glad to see so much interest in this meetup! Unfortunately, due to venue capacity, we can only admit 50 people so please only RSVP if you definitely plan to come. Thanks!!
