The mission of CreateathonDC is to allow a team of professional creative and technical volunteers handpicked from the creative community (managed by The Web Devleopment Group) to give a complete online makeover to three nonprofits located in the DC area. Our goal in doing so is to increase the accessibility of these organizations to the general population. With a stronger web presence, these organizations can expect to see a higher level of awareness brought to their cause.

The chosen nonprofits will receive: -Complete graphical redesign of the nonprofit's website (and logo if needed) -Implementation of WordPress or Drupal content management systems -Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube branding -A social marketing strategy plan for post launch

The total value of a makeover can be up to $25,000 in time and material which most smaller organizations cannot afford. This is a way for creative people from DC to give back to DC based communities in need.
