04/23/2013 - 6:30 PM - PC Professor, West Palm Beach - This session provides a brief history of video streaming and a technical overview of Azure Media Services, followed by a walk-through on how to accomplish typical programming tasks for streaming video. The scenarios demonstrated include: uploading assets, encrypting or encoding assets, and delivering assets by downloading or by generating URLs for streaming content. The samples are written in C# and use the Media Services SDK for .NET. In addition to demonstrating video stremaing via a web browser, we'll quickly build a Windows 8 sore app that serves as a custom video player. This event is sponsored by Signature Consultants.
