The APIMASH Starter Kits for Windows demonstrate how to use public Web Service API's such as Bing, Edmunds, Tom-Tom, Meetup, Twitter, Tumblr, Yelp and many others to create compelling Windows Apps. There are kits for both Xaml and WinJS with Windows Phone kits on the way.

The speaker is Alvin Ashcraft. Alvin is a Microsoft Visual C# MVP and .NET developer in the Philadelphia area. He has nearly 20 years of software development experience in the Healthcare, Financial and Manufacturing industries, primarily using Microsoft tools. Alvin currently builds enterprise clinical health care software for Genzeon Corporation in Exton, PA.
