At our first Meetup I shared some links about HTML5, how it can be used to locally store persistent data, and security issues with such storage. The morning of our first Meetup, the Data chapter (chapter 6) of webOS book was also released. It was agreed that our next Meetup should be about this important topic.

This will be a working session. Bring a charged laptop and USB drive if you can (I’m not sure about outlets or wifi at venue yet.) Once a week an initial email to each person as they RSVP Yes or Maybe for this Meetup. It will contain basic links so you start experimenting ASAP, and ask additional questions that we can cover at the Meetup. I will also plan on sharing additional new material as well.

Agenda 1:00-2:00 Lunch (optional) and informal sharing 2:00-4:00 Formal presentation
