(Exact location not available) , Boca Raton, US

We have a full session lined up for our Meetup tomorrow night.

7-8: Introductory topics 8-9: Demo of Ezcomet / discussion 9-10: Advanced discussion / hands on help

We have received feedback that some of the material presented at our recent meetups is too advanced in nature for people who are new to Ruby and Rails. Going forward we will try to devote the first hour from 7-8 to introductory topics. This is a great chance for some of our members to talk about something easier which might be of interest to newcomers.

To get us started, Rich has volunteered to do an introductory session.

Please arrive promptly at 7 so we can get started. Pizza will be available during the first hour so don't skip that part!

At 8pm we will have a special guest, my friend, Tom Craige who is going to talk to us about a new service he is testing and about to launch to make it easier for developers to deploy push messaging to the browser (often referred to as "comet") -- it is presently in alpha and Tom looking for our feedback. He has some interesting EC2 auto-scaling features which I am keen to understand.

Bring your stories, questions, demos, rants on anything Ruby/Web/Dynamic Language/Programming-related.
