I booked us a room at the Rochester's Public Library for Saturday 2pm till 6pm. They are closed on Sundays till September. The size of the room is nice and be able to talk without background noise. We can also be a bit noisy too, I did ask one of the workers.
I am looking into borrowing or renting a projector for this meeting so we can go around the room and show some techniques you would like to share with everyone. Whether it's web, content management systems, flash, photoshop, illustrator, or just about anything related to the group.
I've called other libraries and so far only Auburn Hills has a room with a projector but the group has to be "certified" by the government that it's a non-profit organization. If this works out, I would like to try and book the room once a month and then another day meetup at a coffee/food house.
The room for the library is located on the second floor. Once you climb up the stairs, take a left and it's right there. There's only one room.
So bring a notepad to pick up some tips and whatnot. See ya there!
