jQuery is an open source Javascript framework, supported by Microsoft. This library is being used all over ASP.Net MVC sites, as well as dotNetNuke, and of course SharePoint. We will take an introductory dive into developing with jQuery, then look at how we can deploy it into our SharePoint environment, and where we can benefit from SharePoint and jQuery working together. We will review some of the most popular jQuery scripts used with SharePoint today.
