Join us for an exciting exploration of the Firefox 3.6 product (code name: Namoroka) which is currently in development!

The Test Plan is here: https://wiki.mozilla.org/QA/Firefox3.6/TestPlan and describes some of the features that will be in this release. Here is the tentative plan for this meetup:

  1. Introduce some of the features, such as Multitouch Polish, and do a bit of testing on the feature. It is my hope that we can get some good feedback from the group as well as get some new bugs on file.
  2. Depending on where we are in the development process, we may have beta builds available to test.

Either way, the objectives of this meetup are to introduce the new features and talk about strategies for testing these features, as well as do some live testing.

Make sure to bring your laptops - we have wi-fi access. I will have several laptops available that have multi touch capability. We encourage you to download the nighty builds before you attend and start running them - that will give you a chance to look at the builds and develop any questions you may have. Remember that all of the features have not yet been implemented and work will be ongoing during the development period. You can find the latest nightly builds here: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-mozilla-1.9.2/.

A week or so before the meetup I will provide some additional information so that everyone will have the tools they need to participate in this meetup. As always, we will chow on some pizza starting at 6:30 PM and begin testing in earnest at 7 PM.

Please try to arrive before 7 PM - the 650 Castro Street Lobby doors lock and if you arrive after 7 PM you will need to call 650-903-0800 x214 in order to get in.
