During the course of September’s Android User Group, we will present 3 talks of 15 minutes on the following subjects:

Using Android GPS to measure race car performance Presented by Dr Paul Thomas

Paul will talk about using GPS hardware on the G1 to turn the phone into a datalogger for lap times, G-forces and car positioning on the track. From this data we can inspect tyre and engine performance, and also see which parts of the track can be taken faster in order to reduce lap times.

OAuth and the intent ecosystem Presented by Carl-Gustaf Harroch

Carl will present his OAuth provider and explain its integration to the platform. Intents filtering, custom permission and security enforcement will be the topic of this talk.

Third talk to be announced later.
