Abstract : Historical Understanding of the PMBOK®

The PMBOK® has a rich evolutionary history which affirms for us the validity of its content. Many PMs simply think that the PMBOK® is an “ivory tower” type of fluff that has little “real world” application. Nothing could be further from the truth. This upbeat presentation is intended to affirm our confidence in the PMBOK® and demonstrate the true value that it can bring to the Project Management Environment.
