This is not a newbie session, but is geared towards people with some experience with MySQL and databases.

George Trujillo, a MySQL instructor from Sun Microsystems is in town next week and has agreed to be our presenter. George regularly teaches a "MySQL for Developers" course and we are very excited to have him!

Our Moderator: Patrick Elward of Chicago Web Management

We'll open up the room to discussions with the moderator and each other. This way, everyone can participate.

    We're at Holiday Club, located at 4000 N. Sheridan Road with easy access from Lake Shore Drive AND the Redline (Sheridan Road) stop of the CTA.

    If you're a current webmaster that's not a freelancer, you're still encouraged to come and share your experience with working with others.

    This will be casual, with sharing of ideas and discussions.

It should be a nice follow up to the intro to DSLs I did a few months ago. Also, he attended the Scala Lift Off East in Reston, VA, so he'll dish the dirt.
