Effectively Managing Software Change in a Highly-Customized PeopleSoft Environment

Synopsis: This presentation will focus on the processes and tools used deliver a high quality Software Configuration Management solution and the benefits that are realized across the university.

Speaker Bio: Scott Johnson, Senior Systems Manager, The Ohio State University’s Office of Information Technology Scott’s responsibilities at The Ohio State University include the management of two teams, the Configuration Management and Content Management Teams. Over the past 13 years, Scott has been working at establishing and improving the university’s software configuration management solution for its various PeopleSoft environments. Currently, it meets all IEEE guidelines for software configuration management as defined by IEEE.

Scott holds several certifications, is active in a variety of professional organizations and has presented at numerous conferences over the past several years on topics ranging from to quality control and assurance, to configuration management to content management.
