ABC Restaurant - Fleetwood , Surrey, CA

At our next Surrey Drupal meetup Rick Vugteveen (VP of Technology, ImageX Media) will give an overview of what's new in Drupal 7. Beyond giving a demonstration, there will also be discussion regarding how best to build sites today that are ready for the eventual transition.

Please RSVP if you'd like to join us.

NOTE: There's no cost for this event, however it would be great if you can come prepared to order something (some of us order dinner, some just drinks) along with a 15% gratuity as we really want to keep up a good relationship with ABC as they've been great in allowing us to book their conference room.

A Silverlight Introduction to newbies/designers + Developer Talk TBA

    21km away in Vancouver

Okay this is a combined talk for designers/developers depending on the ratio that RSVP's. The designer talk will be aimed at newcomers / existing Flash users and the developer talk I've still yet to determine depending on time. However based on RSVP's I can easily change this to a full developer focus if we end up getting the same faces again :) Please RSVP if you can make the date and a time. There is still the possibility of getting a Microsoft speaker.

Repetitive, tedious, and error-prone are words that come to mind. Thankfully, configuring servers is all but a solved problem thanks to Chef. The days of vi, and shell scripts are mostly over. Building complex infrastructure has never been easier.
