The Chicago-Area Scala Enthusiasts (CASE) November Meetup

Date
Fri, 20 Nov 2009, 00:00 - 02:00 (Add to calendar) GMT
Venue
ThoughtWorks , Chicago, US
Cost
Free

Our 8th monthly meeting at ThoughtWorks.

Meeting Topic: Lightnin' Talks

We have two talks for the meeting.

Bill Pollack is going to talk about two small projects he's done in Scala. One is a Sudoku solver using actors and the other is a tool he wrote at work to process XML files.

Then, new member Josh Cough will tell us about using sbt (Simple Build Tool) and ScalaTest for projects. (Corrected: I mistyped "Scala Build Tool" previously.)

Note: As always, you must RSVP with a real name (or email it to us separately) so we can give your name to Aon security in order to enter the building after normal working hours. Please do so by noon so we can order the right amount of Pizza. Thanks!

As always, send your suggestions for future topics to the mailing list http://groups.google.com/group/chicagoscala.

But ever since the recent hedge fund takeover, Santa has had to outsource most of the toymaking and the remaining elves just handle inventory and customer complaints.
