A remote presentation by Yehuda Katz of EngineYard!

Yehuda Katz is currently employed by Engine Yard, and works full time as a Core Team Member on the Rails project. He is the co-author of jQuery in Action and the upcoming Rails 3 in Action, and is a contributor to Ruby in Practice.

He spends most of his time hacking on Rails, but also on other Ruby community projects, like Rubinius and Datamapper. And when the solution doesn't yet exist, he'll try his hand at creating one - as such, he's also created projects like Thor and DO.rb.

    IndyFlash Takes Over Broad Ripple

    7km away in Indianapolis

I'm excited to announce IndyFlash has a meeting location for December. Sam and Quinn from Touch A Soul were gracious enough to volunteer their office in Broad Ripple. There is plenty of parking, lots of chairs and the Broad Ripple Brewpub is conveniently right across the street. This is the first solo meeting with me as the manager, so we'll begin with introductions and questions/suggestions about IndyFlash.

    7km away in Indianapolis

This meeting will be an opportunity for developers and designers to get together and network, learn more about what's going on in the tech industry and to have fun eating good food and getting to know one another. As usual, we will be giving away some great Adobe swag. Please be sure to RSVP well before the event so we can make appropriate reservations and keep in mind that you will need to cover the cost of any food or drink you consume.

    The Indianapolis PHP December Meetup

    11km away in Indianapolis

As always, this meetup is FREE! Harold Consulting is the perennial sponsor of the meetup group, while Kishan Ranasinghe has graciously provided us with an excellent location. If you are interested in sponsoring a PHP meetup, please contact Ben Harold, the meetup organizer, through the meetup website. During the August meetup we will be discussing E-Commerce solutions and how PHP has nestled itself right into the middle of what will undoubtedly grow to be the largest sales market on the planet.

    The Cincinnati Drupal December Meetup

    98km away in Cincinnati

Last month was pretty successful in doing a series of 'lighting' presentations. Since we do not have a specific topic for October, we will be doing them again. Anybody present can get up and talk about anything they want, as long as it is Drupal related. Usually this would be 5 - 15 minutes each, but we are fine if they run long.
