A Silverlight Introduction to newbies/designers + Developer Talk TBA

      0km away in Vancouver

Okay this is a combined talk for designers/developers depending on the ratio that RSVP's. The designer talk will be aimed at newcomers / existing Flash users and the developer talk I've still yet to determine depending on time. However based on RSVP's I can easily change this to a full developer focus if we end up getting the same faces again :) Please RSVP if you can make the date and a time. There is still the possibility of getting a Microsoft speaker.

Talk Description: When you hear "sysadmin work", do you think of ssh, vi, and shell scripts? If you do, it's probably not the most fun sounding work. Repetitive, tedious, and error-prone are words that come to mind. Thankfully, configuring servers is all but a solved problem thanks to Chef. The days of vi, and shell scripts are mostly over. Building complex infrastructure has never been easier.
