Anyone involved in marketing planning for 2010 should attend this meeting. As next year's marketing plans are developed, companies must determine how or if today's emergent social media projects fit into future year plans. AMA Social Media team members Tom Williams of InnoGage and Steve Bell of Strategic Marketing Innovations will 1) investigate the implications of social media for marketing planning, 2) shed light on lessons learned from past technology innovations that apply to social media today, 3) explain how social media management should evolve within the enterprise and 4) provide guidance for marketers to shepherd today's stand-alone social media programs into mainstream business marketing.
