For this, the last Edge UG event of the year we bring you two great speakers.

First up: Eric Nelson joins us to discuss SQL Azure - Microsoft's Database platform on the Cloud. Want to learn some compelling reasons to put your data in the cloud? Want to know the limitations of using SQL Azure over a local SQL Server? Then this event is for you.

SQL Server 2008 R2 was released as a Community Technology Preview this month. Hot off the press and fresh from his appearances at Tech-Ed '09 Andrew Fryer; also a Microsoft Evangelist; will be popping in to show us all what's new in SQL Server 2008 R2.

Being the last event of the year I hope to see as many of you there as possible - let's try and make this as big an event as possible!

Agenda:

18:00 - 18:30 Meet and Greet/Networking

18:30 - 19:30 SQL Azure

19:30 - 20:15 Pizza!

20:15 - 21:15 SQL 2008 R2
