Hello all

For our 16th November meetup we'll welcome Ravi Damani, the co-founder of Acrossair, the agency behind the smash-hit Nearest Tube augmented reality app.

If you not sure what augmented reality is then prepare to be gobsmacked. The technology holds huge promise and Ravi will know better than anyone in the UK where it's heading next. Acrossair are also the brains behind other popular apps such as TVGuide.co.uk.

The event will start earlier than usual because Ravi's got another appointment that evening. Doors open at 630pm and Ravi is on shortly afterwards. Ravi's giving his time for free on a busy night for him, so please do him a favour and make it to the venue for 630pm sharp. Latecomers will be admitted - they'll just miss out! We'll carry on networking and socialising until late, as before. Newcomers are especially welcome.

Some of you mentioned the sound levels and the lighting last time - both will be fixed this time round. Once again, many thanks to our friends at Yuza Mobile for providing this amazing venue for free.

All your tweets and postings etc are appreciated - do carry on spreading the word. See you there.

Jason Dunne, event organiser

p.s. for best networking results, have a look at everyone's Meetup profiles before arriving, put a photo on your profile and update your bio. You can mail each other through Meetup too.
