Putting SOAP to REST

For people who know SOAP in-depth sometimes it's hard to understand the community's excitement with REST services. We'll try to smooth this disconnect by discussing their differences and pros/cons. We'll see that REST is not a replacement for SOAP, but, merely, an additional way of implementing services. We'll discuss use cases when one should/may be chosen over another and where REST can be beneficial. We'll build REST services and feeds with pure WCF and with the WCF REST Toolkit and see how they can be consumed by different client types (including AJAX-based apps).
