Git & Powershell
Mark Embling
Git is a great new distributed version control system fast gaining in traction, particularly in the open-source space where GitHub has no doubt helped push it forward. However even on Windows, most people tend to use Git through the bash shell. There is another way: Powershell. Mark will cover why he thinks Git and Powershell make a great combination, and demonstrate some tweaks which can be made to make Git & Powershell feel like a match made in heaven.
Mark works as a software developer for the Sixth Form College Farnborough having recently graduated from Bournemouth University. He currently works with .NET having previously worked with PHP and dabbled in many other technologies over the years.
