Presentation - Lean Startup 101 - Converting your software ideas into success, while keeping costs under control.

Why would we accept the high failure rate of new software products and projects? Why would we spend truckloads of cash on product launches if we're not sure people will use it? 'The Lean Startup' is an evolving concept to guide entrepreneurs, project owners and other stakeholders to a successful software product. It combines hands-on experience of Silicon Valley thought leaders and serial entrepreneurs, Steve Blank and Eric Ries, with agile software development concepts.

Learn how to support your important business decisions with cold hard facts instead of just intuition and and a false sense of experience. Learn how to combine your agile software iterations with similar business iterations. Learn how to 'pivot' when thing do not go according to plan.

Speaker Bio:

Robbert van Geldrop (29) is CTO and founder of BackupAgent. He is an experienced entrepreneur with an enormous ICT-affinity. Robbert has a clear strategic vision and holds a Masters degree in Science, graduated at Technical Univesity of Delft. He stumbled upon the Lean Startup a little while ago and since then his total endeavour turning his idea into a successful company has become a big flashback where this new concept was the missing piece of the puzzle to progress business.
